Essentially self-portraiture is nothing other than learning how to take photos of people but just turning the camera around towards yourself and learning the techniques needed to capture yourself sharply and interestingly in a photo.

 
 

What to expect when you take part:

 

Focusing

An important part of capturing self-portraits is to get the right thing in the image sharp. This is often the eyes. In this first lesson you will learn several tips and tricks for focusing perfectly - with both your smartphone and your camera.

Equipment

In this lesson I will be introducing the equipment I need or use for my self-portraits every time. And believe me, I'm not one for lugging heavy equipment around.

You will learn my tips and tricks if you don't have a tripod or want to invest money for this type of photography and also my more advanced equipment recommendations.

Capturing self-portraits if you are shy.

Most photographers I know don't like to see themselves in photos. In this lesson, you'll learn cool self-portrait tricks that will gradually build your confidence and get you used to being the one in front of the camera.

Five different setups for self-portraits.
