Girls With Cameras - Dawn Hansch

Get to Know the real me

Born & raised in northern England, I took a temp job in Bavaria, Germany to make some quick money & spend some time in my mother’s hometown. Three months turned into 34 years. These days, me and my husband Chris live in the German countryside with our two just-about-to-move-out kids and our two gorgeous dogs.

The words that describe me best are camera-lover and creator. I run Girls With Cameras in both English & German, which means I spend most of my time switching between two languages, sentence by sentence. After starting the day with several cups of coffee I settle at the computer to create… usually for the next 12 hours straight! When I’m stiff from sitting all day, I’ll go for a jog, take the dogs for a walk, or blast insanely loud music, at least for a 51-year-old.
