This workshop devotes an entire chapter to the question of how to copy the settings from other photographers’ photos. Essentially, they are a good starting point.
However, there are several reasons why you often don't get the results you want and end up with something that looks nothing like the original.
In this chapter, you will learn exactly what you are copying so that you can control every setting you change and know how it will affect the final image.

For example, they took pictures with a different light; maybe it was sunny, and yours was cloudy, or they used a completely different camera and/or lens. You will learn to quickly adjust the settings and achieve the same result!

I often see inexperienced photographers trying to bend light instead of working with it.
In this chapter, you will learn how to recognise certain types of light and what kind of photos you can take with it.
HOW GOOD IS YOUR CAMERA REALLY?
Every camera has strengths and weaknesses. The simple exercises in the workshop will help you test your camera to find out why some pictures will work for you and why some won't (and what you can do about it).
Only then do you know which pictures will succeed and which pictures aren't possible to create with the equipment you have? During the workshop, you will learn workarounds and be able to create most image looks with the equipment you already have.

Certain lenses do certain things and before you start trying to take images with blurry backgrounds or freeze your dogs movement when he's running over the fields it may be worth finding out which of your lenses will be able to accomplish this best.

All you need to take great photos is a camera or a smartphone - or both! If you decide that you want to pursue a certain type of photography in the future, you will receive additional information in the workshop.
+ Are the methods difficult to learn?
Not at all. The explanations are simple, understandable and, above all, without technical terms. There are exercises for each section.
+ How long will I have access to the content?
I know this is a very good question, but I firmly believe that you will go through the content pretty quickly and only need to refer to it once or twice. I really hope you manage to focus on the workshop soon and start taking professional looking photos sooner rather than later. You'll have access to the workshop content for at least two years, or as long as it's included in the Girls with Cameras workshop collection (possibly longer than two years) - and you can learn at your own pace.
