What you learn:

The “Defining your Photographic Style” workshop will take you from being a photographer who hasn’t a clue about which steps to take when developing her photographic style and help you decide on a process of photography for all your future images.

Overcoming Overwhelm

In a world full of images which you’d love to create yourself and with a camera in your possession that will help you do just that, it’s hard to decide which magic you’d like to create first. This can be overwhelming and a gallery full of images which look like they’ve been taken by a hundred different photographers.

They’re all good, but your image gallery itself is nothing special.

The course content will carefully guide you through the process of understanding which subjects and styles you truly love and need to focus on.

Deciding on a "process" to use on your future images

You will be developing a photography recipe to use on all your future images and create images that give you joy and shine with YOU-ness.

When you concentrate on one photography process you'll become more and more creative. So instead of wracking your brains about how to take your photograph in the best way you'll use the process you've developed for all your future images and with them, build an image gallery in your cohesive style.

 Frequently Asked Questions

+ Which equipment do I need to get the maximum potential out of this workshop?

A camera or smartphone.

+ Do I need photography skills to take part?

It would make sense to have a basic knowledge of photography. If you're only just starting out you could make use of the offer where you can purchase the workshop "Better than Perfect" for an additional $50 - this workshop will teach you the basics and at the same time how to create stand out images.

+ Do I need to be on Instagram or Facebook to take part?

No. The workshop is hosted on Mighty Networks and includes a community area which has all the functionality of a Facebook group. You don't need an Instagram account, although I would suggest eventually deciding on a platform to present your images, this however does not need to be Instagram.

+ How long do I have access to the content?

You have lifetime access to the workshop content, community area and feedback for as long as you need – and you can learn at your own pace.

+ What happens after I’ve registered?

On 1st February you'll receive an email with a link to the workshop and community. To access the course content, all you need to do is click the link (this is like turning the key in the door). Then you add your name, email and a password of your choice and you’ll have immediate access to all the content.

Girls With Cameras - Dawn Hansch

Hi, I’m Dawn Hänsch,

founder of Girls with Cameras and SOOP and also the creator of this wonderful workshop

Style development is what Girls with Cameras is all about because having your own unique image look will help you become a more creative photographer, it also opens doors to new opportunities.

How about hosting your own vernissage, becoming Instagram famous or combining your skills and cohesive style of photography to decorate your blog or small (or large) business profile?

But it’s not only for the “almost famous”, but for every woman photographer who started photography with the intention of showing her personality through photography because there’s really is a no better feeling than your images to be recognised as yours, without even seeing your name under them.
