Why stock Photography?
In 2009 I bought my first „big“ camera 📸 and at around the same one of my friends told me that she’d started offering her images to a stock photography agency and that some had already been accepted.
I created an account and uploaded two images. And „BINGO“! One of them was accepted 🎉
This image was actually anything but perfect, but it apparently serves the needs of their clients as it has been sold on several occasions 🙃
My point being, is that you really DON’T have to be a professional photographer in order to sell your images successfully.

WHat stock photography agencies are really looking for
After my initial success almost all my photos were declined. It took several years and a lot of heartache before I (and many other photographers) realised what Photocase (and other similar agencies) were really looking for.

+ How much money can I expect to earn?
This totally depends on the amount of images that you publish and offer. It may take a while to get your bearings, but once you have about 1000 images to offer you'll be able to earn between $20 and $100 a month.
If taken seriously with a higher time investment you can earn up to $500 a month.
