“Easy Photography” is an online workshop that explains photography simply so you can easily develop your skills and become amazing.

WHEN YOU PURCHASED YOUR CAMERA, YOU DID SO TO TAKE BETTER PHOTOS THAN YOU were taking previously, RIGHT?

But you’re beginning to think you may have made a huge mistake. Your photos are not nearly as good as you hoped, but you haven’t a clue why that is or what to do about it.

This workshop will instantly change that.

You’re brilliantly capable to be the most outstanding version of yourself.

The strength is already inside you.

Did you know that most of the photographers whose images you admire on Instagram are self-taught?

They were once in the exact same place as you are now. They aren’t naturally talented or have more time (to practice), live in more photogenic locations, have friends who look like models or have more money for fancy equipment.

They just decided one day that they were going to become amazing photographers and did everything in their power to make it happen. And they’re only a few steps ahead of you.

I know how frustrating and annoying making no notable progress can be because I spent several years believing that I would NEVER EVER be anywhere near as good as the photographers I admired. Some of the photographers learning alongside me gave up before their photography improved.

Do you want the shortcut?

A photo is so much more than capturing an interesting subject. It’s a beginning-to-end process. Each element within the photos is the result of a decision on your part.

With practice, each decision takes place within milliseconds.

I hope you’re ready to approach photography the easy way, because I’m ready to hand over the exact knowledge that transformed my photos from mediocre to magical to you on a plate.

The workshop content covers the most important factors of photography that are explained in simple terms so that you can immediately implement what you’ve learned after each lesson:

The workshop contents

Lesson 1: Camera Settings

You’ll learn how to make your camera create the photos you have in mind by mastering the camera settings and learning your camera’s most important features.

Lesson 2: Subjects

You’ve probably already noticed that some things work better than others as main subjects. Whenever you find it difficult to capture something within your camera’s frame, it’s usually wise to give up. Yes, you read correctly; not every object, building, plant, or person is conducive to creating a good photo - you can set yourself challenges once you’ve mastered the basics, but for now, I would focus on “easy” subjects. What are “easy subjects”? How will you know if something is photo-worthy? And what are your options?

Lesson 3: Backgrounds

A subject is worth nothing if the background doesn’t complement it. In fact, the background is usually just as important as the subject itself. Learn how to select backgrounds for your subjects and what to do with noisy and distracting backgrounds if you can’t move your subject.

Lesson 4: Light

The “story-telling” element in your photos. Light is a photography element that you need to work with and not against. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to work with available light and use it in ways that give your photos mood and atmosphere.

Lesson 5: Composition

The way to bring more attention to your subject is to place it in a spot within the frame where it is enhanced the most. In this lesson, you will learn how to place different subjects in different scenes, when to zoom in or out, and what to include in the frame, what you should leave out and why.

Lesson 6: Accessories

Some accessories can ruin photos, whereas others turn them into professional-looking works of art. In this lesson, you’ll learn different ways to use accessories in your photos. It also comes with a list of accessories you might want to begin collecting for your future images.

Lesson 7: First steps in editing

A good photography friend of mine once explained that you should edit your photos in a way that brings out the best without them looking obviously edited. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to draw more focus to your subjects, backgrounds and light and also some good practices for cropping your images to remove unwanted areas and bring more attention to the main subjects and characteristics in the composition.

Each of these seven components will bring you a step further to taking fantastic photos confidently and with ease.

Why do I feel exceptionally qualified to teach you?

Because I was once in the exact same place that you are now.

Wondering why others weren’t crazy about my photos, not even realising that my photos weren’t all that good, and then slowly realising that they were a long way from impressing anyone, and not having the slightest idea why that was and what to do about it.

Fast forward several years, and I’m regularly giving feedback and helpful advice to help my students improve their photography, and at the same time, noticing that most of my students make the same mistakes time and again without realising it.

This workshop explains how to create amazing photos and not necessarily how to avoid taking bad ones. This workshop is for everyone who needs help in becoming better, because I know I’m the one who can give them that and I’m happy to give it to YOU!
