STEP ONE:

DEVELOP YOUR OWN PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE

Hello everyone! Let's talk about photography styles. They're not just a trend or a passing phase, they're the secret sauce to becoming an outstanding photographer. Seriously, having your own photography style is like having a superpower in the photography world.
Some people fear having their own style might limit their creativity, but the opposite is true. When you define your photography style, you have the freedom to explore yourself and create in a unique way. You no longer have to wander aimlessly or search for ideas; you can let your creativity run wild.
In our workshop at ICONiC, we will take you on a playful journey to help you discover and develop your photography style. Step by step, we will guide you through the process that will unleash your creative potential and help you stand out from the crowd of photographers.

STEP THREE:
VISUAL POETRY
Capture your audience's attention with images that speak volumes. Imagine taking photos that make people stop and think, images that tell a story waiting to be decoded.
In this workshop, you will learn how to combine the art of poetic thinking with photography to create a unique narrative that makes your viewers curious and thought-provoking. It's about going beyond the surface and exploring the essence of your photo.
Every photo you take is a gateway to a different experience for each viewer. You invite others to embark on a journey where thoughts and images merge seamlessly and have a deeper meaning.
Learn how to make your photos stand out and stay in people's minds. Let's explore together how certain aspects of your photos can convey a powerful story.
STEP FOUR:
CREATE A PORTFOLIO AND BECOME AN ICON
In this workshop, we will bring everything together. You'll learn how to create a portfolio that showcases your skills and creativity. This portfolio will be your ticket to becoming a recognised photographer in the world of photography.
Your unique style and taste will shine through and set you apart from the crowd. Not only will this portfolio set you apart from other photographers, but it will also open up new opportunities for you. Imagine being asked to write a book, promote products or take on lucrative assignment projects. You will be confident entering photography competitions and/or organising your exhibition.
During the 12-week programme, we will dive deep into creating your work. I will be with you every step of the way, giving you feedback and helping you refine your portfolio. By the end of the programme, you'll feel confident and ready to move on to the next phase of your photographic journey.
We'll cover everything from mastering social media to exploring new opportunities. Get ready to hone your photography skills and prepare for a successful and fulfilling career behind the lens. Let's walk your path in the world of photography together!
STEP FIVE:
TWELVE WEEKLY LIVE TRAININGS
During the 12-week programme, we will dive deep into creating your work. I will be with you every step of the way, giving you feedback and helping you refine your portfolio. By the end of the programme, you'll feel confident and ready to move on to the next phase of your photographic journey.
Things you might be wondering before you sign up (AKA FAQs):
+ How does Iconic work?
The first round of ICONiC starts on 31 May 2024. Once you have registered, you will get access to the workshop on learning photography and mastering your camera. This will give you enough time to go through the content and take better pictures than the ones you are taking today.
The rest of the content will be available on 15 May. Then you can work through the content on developing photographic style, visual poetry and ICONiC.
The weekly phone calls will take place every Thursday at 7pm. Depending on how many people sign up, each person will have a 10-15 minute window to ask questions and discuss their progress. I will scrutinise your portfolios and give you helpful tips and tricks and advice on how to refine your photography style or add depth and meaning to your photos.
Within these 12 weeks you will develop a photography style that will make you the photographer you are today.
+ Do you offer payment plans?
I am offering 10 spots for 50% off on my birthday event. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and will never be offered again. I do not offer payment plans if you choose this option. However, if you decide to sign up for $950, you can sign up for a payment plan and pay in 3 or 6 instalments.
+ What happens after the 12 weeks?
I am confident that within 12 weeks you will have developed your own photography style and will already be ICONiC. However, if you want to refine your skills or perhaps go over some of the other content again, you can do so. From the time you sign up or when the content becomes available, you will have access to the content for 24 months. That's enough time to go through the content and develop your style.
ICONiC will be available for sign-up twice a year, and you can join in each round. But as I said, I'm confident you'll be ICONiC by the end of the 12 weeks.
+ When will the content be available?
The content on learning photography and mastering your camera will be available as soon as you sign up. The other content will be available from 31 May.
+ When does the first live training take place?
