January

This month’s theme is:

“FOOD”

This month we are looking at the fascinating world of food photography.

Food is a wonderful photography subject that is available to us daily in abundance. In this month's mini-workshop, you'll learn how to make delicious pictures of your food, drinks and appetizers.

I'll explain the basics, what makes a photo appealing to the eye and what mistakes you should avoid. You'll learn about lighting, composition and styling to make the best decisions for your food pictures.

But let me first tell you a little bit about the Creativity Group’s amazing concept

Photography ideas for whenever you have the time and whenever you need them.

A community of photographers working on the same project on a regular basis is the best and most fun way to develop as a photographer.

Join me to learn photography basics by theme, practice with the prompts and exercises whenever you have the time (or need an excuse to find the time) and then share your creations with like-minded women photographers.

The “Creativity Group” is the best place to learn about different photography genres and find inspiration for busy photographers who want to see the kind of photos their fellow camera-clickers have recently been creating.

WHAT AWAITS YOU AFTER SIGNING UP?

Immediately after your registration, you will receive an email with an access link to the community, where your (new) photography friends are already waiting for you and where you will find your first tasks.

From tomorrow onwards, you will receive an email with a new photography idea in your email inbox every morning - even if you don't have time to photograph every day; these emails are a nice reminder that help and inspiration are always nearby when you need them.

 Frequently Asked Questions

+ What if I don’t have time to photograph every day?

I doubt anyone really has. The assignments include ideas for when you have time and want to spend it taking a certain kind of photo. There will always be a few photographers who post every day and it's great to be inspired by their interpretations.

+ What if I want to work on a photography prompt from the past? Can I still post it in the feed?

Yes, of course. You’ll always feel more of a connection to some of the themes than to others, and there will be some that you’ll continue to work on for weeks and months. We’d love to see how they help you grow as a photographer.

+ What happens after the first twelve months have ended?

The group will continue. If you love you can stay. The next payment for $39 will automatically be deducted and you'll continue being inspired. If you've moved on and want to discontinue after twelve months then just let me know and I'll cancel your payment plan.

+ Is this just for camera photographers, or for smartphone photographers too?

It's intended for both. You'll get a PDF that explains the basics of smartphone photography so you can use your phone's camera to take pictures that look like they were taken with a real camera. You'll be amazed at the results and the photos you'll soon be taking.

+ What if I don’t like this month’s theme?

Although I’m intent on creating content that many will like and look forward to doing, there will always be themes and prompts that don’t quite match your taste. I’d always suggest joining NOW, becoming part of the community, seeing how it works, and polishing your camera for next month’s challenge. At the moment, I’m offering access at an extremely low price point, calculated at only 3,25 € per month. Each guide includes a wealth of knowledge that can be applied to other photography genres.

+ Will you be giving feedback?

I will share my thoughts on some of the images if I think there is something to say that is helpful to the photographer and other group members. You can click the hashtag #dawnsfeedback in the group to find posts I’ve commented on.
