In this training, I will teach you everything I apply to my photography. You’ll understand how to combine aperture, exposure, and ISO in the space of an afternoon.
Cameras and lenses:
You’ll learn to test your camera whether it’s a full-blown DSLR, pocket camera, or smartphone to learn of its advantages and disadvantages as well as which lenses are perfect for your needs.
Perspective:
You’ll discover how different perspectives work for image looks and learn how to create unexpected and unique imagery.
Composition:
I’m showing you all my tips & tricks for what’s included in the frame, where to place subjects, and how to break traditional photography rules to create eye-catching, interesting images that stand out from other photographers.

Learn how different colours work within your photography. You’ll learn about your dominant and background colours are as well as how to use this knowledge to perfectly set up your images.
Backgrounds:
Backgrounds can make or break your image. You’ll discover how to offer the main subject as a contrast or to compliment the background.

+ Which type of camera do I need to take part?
Any camera which is capable of taking a picture – yes really, you don’t need expensive equipment to become a great photographer.
+ Do I need background knowledge in order to take part?
Any knowledge which you need to develop into a good photographer is provided in the content of the workshop or can be gained by asking questions in the group or live trainings.
+ I already know a lot about photography, won’t this be too easy for me?
You will profit from the unique approach to photography and also from the daily prompt and be constantly inspired by the other photographers images.
+ I don’t have time for photography every day, will I be wasting my money if I don’t turn up regularly?
The price is actually calculated for people who don’t have a lot of time for their hobby. Yes, there is a new prompt every day, but if you only pop in once a week you’ll have more choice about what you could photograph. You’re always welcome to work on older challenges and you can post images from past challenges at any time.
+ Do I need a Facebook / Instagram account?
SOOP is hosted in my Mighty Network: “Girls with Cameras” – this is a workshop hosting platform which is similar to a Facebook group, but without the noise. It is the perfect place to fully engross yourself with the content and communicate with other like-minded photographers. There is also an app which is very easy to install and you will automatically be added to your Girls with Cameras account.
+ What happens after I’ve registered?
You’ll receive an email with a link to the SOOP group / workshop. All you need to do is click the link (this is like turning the key in the door). Then you add your name, email and a password of your choice and you’ll have immediate access to all the content.
+ What if I don’t like it?
You can cancel month by month. There is a form in the in the welcome section. You will receive confirmation that your payment profile has been cancelled and I will manually remove you from the group on the day your subscription would have renewed.
