People as Accessories in Photos
How to use people as accessories in your photos ππ»ββοΈ πΈ - tips, tricks and ideas π€©
People are truly great photography subjects, and Iβm not talking about classical portraits.
β
Look at the following images that include people. You'll notice that they are used to give the image an element of interest:
β
Find a cool setting and wait for someone to walk through the scene.
βPeople with dark or colourful clothing are the best models, but it really depends on the setting. Also, look for people with umbrellas.
β
Keep your eyes open when youβre out and about with your camera for cool settings that might look good when someone walks through - you may want to come back later with a friend.
β
Night sky photography is almost always wonderful, but you'll agree that most of them look pretty similar. The photo above shows a making-of.
By the way, "Night Sky" photography is included in next month's theme: "Landscapes and Nature" in the Creativity Group.
β
Using people as accessories in photos is something you can plan ahead. Ask a friend, preferably with dark hair and striking clothes to join you on your next photo tour.
β
This is the result of capturing the perfect moment. I took a burst of photos of this cyclist as he approached the perfect spot. Note how the bicycle and the man are entirely highlighted by the sky and not partially blended into the road.
β
"Capturing the perfect moment" is also included in this month's "Creativity Group" content. You'll only have to learn this once, and once you've nailed it, you'll be rewarded with a lifetime of beautiful authentic photos of your family and friends.
β
I hope you enjoyed this email and that it inspires you to grab your camera and spend your Sunday capturing people as accessories in your photos.
